Before filling glass bottles and containers for the food and beverage sector, it must be ensured that the containers are undamaged.
If damaged glasses burst in the line, splinters can fall into other glasses. Bottlers are looking for ways to detect damaged glasses as early as possible.
The dsound® Tap Check system detects damaged and defective glass containers and enables their separation.
The system is installed at the line and checks each container. With a testing capacity of 28,000 containers per hour, this system is intended for automated, industrial use. The Tap Check System consists of an airborne sensor, a mechanic exciter and two photoelectric sensors.
